EU PROJECT ACCENT PROMOTES ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN MACERATA - ITALY


September 26th from 4.30pm to 6.30pm in the event room of the MATT coworking in Macerata - Italy (via F. Panfilo, 15) the presentation of the European project AccEnt - Accelerating Innovation and Entrepreneurial Excellence in Higher Education Institutes took place. 

 

It is an important project for the Macerata and Marche region area as it provides entrepreneurial training and mentoring activities for the launch of start-ups, offering opportunities for discussion with teachers, innovators and young startuppers from prestigious European universities such as KU Leuven eThomas More (Belgium), Maria Curie -Skłodowska University (Poland), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), Fontys University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands), Pablo de Olavide University (Spain). 

 

The event, which was part of the Sharper 2023 - European Researchers Night initiatives, was moderated by the entrepreneur and trainer, Valerio Placidi. Presentation of the project was carried out by Prof. Francesca Spigarelli - full professor of applied economics at the University of Macerata and AccEnt coordinator for UNIMC. Second discussant was Prof. Michela Cortini - full professor in Work and Organizational Psychology at the G. d'Annunzio University of Chieti-Pescara who spoke about the soft skills necessary in starting a business project. Finally, the audience of numerous aspiring entrepreneurs was able to witness the testimonies of three young entrepreneurs: Alex Maurizi,Intreccio Vivo; Jonathan Petrelli, Event4You and Davis Agostini, UniStay.
